ABOUT BRAIN FEST
We are lovers of science, art & community.
BRAIN Fest is a citywide celebration of curiosity, connection, and the incredible power of the human brain.
Through three unique events across Denver and Aurora, BRAIN Fest invites people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the science of brain health in hands-on, thought-provoking, and often hilarious ways.
From comedy and live talks to art installations and outdoor experiments, Brain Fest blends science with storytelling, creativity, and community to make neuroscience more accessible — and more human. Whether you're a lifelong learner, a young explorer, or just brain-curious, BRAIN Fest offers something for everyone.
This series of smart, surprising experiences aims to unite the community to celebrate the wonders of the brain and highlight the importance of brain science and health research.
Brain Fest is the brainchild of Dr. Tracy L. Bale, the Anschutz Foundation Endowed Chair in Women's Integrated Mental and Physical Health Research at the Ludeman Center, and Professor and Director for InterGenerational Stress and Health, as well as Director for Sex Differences Research in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus.
